The Mother’s Day Out Program at Heritage Christian Academy provides a loving Christian atmosphere for children between the ages of 18 and 36 months. 

Classes meet Monday through Friday with several options of days and hours for parents to choose from.  Extended care is available to children enrolled in the 5 day a week program. All children are treated with respect and are given individual attention. 

In addition to responding to children in a loving manner in order to help them feel secure and treasured away from home, we assist them in feeling confident by allowing them to participate in activities appropriate to their developmental abilities.  Activities in the MDO program are designed to provide opportunity for development of fine and gross motor skills.  These activities are centered on monthly themes and may include arts and crafts, center play, Bible stories, seasonal and holiday activities, games, outdoor play, music and movement as well as finger plays.

Discipline is handled in an affectionate and respectful manner.  Parents are notified of any problems that occur in the classroom.  Lunch must be sent from home.
